STATUS / CONCEPT DESIGN

The Humble Trader stocks locally made artesian products. The wonderful owner Clare is going to turn the lawn area next to the shop to a colourful and inviting space for customers and passers by to enjoy.

This garden will include Clare’s huge range of succulents she has been lovingly growing in preparation for this project. The building is painted in bright white, vivid blue and a fun fuchsia pink. These colours will be incorporated in to the garden in the form of hand made art pieces.

As this space is also used for yoga and meditation classes Clare wanted a circular shape echoing a yin yang at the heart of the garden. Tall feathery miscanthus will be used to tie this all together and add some height to the space.
